Privacy Policy
RCVR (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it when you use the RCVR iOS app and related services.
Data we collect
- Account information — name and email when you sign up
- User content — workout logs, check-ins (soreness, mood, energy), goals, and training history you record in the app
- Health & fitness data — with your permission, we read from Apple Health: heart rate variability (HRV), resting heart rate, sleep analysis, active energy burned, and Apple Exercise Time. We do not write to Apple Health.
- Derived data — readiness scores and related insights calculated from your health and training data
- Purchases — subscription status and purchase history processed by Apple and RevenueCat (we do not receive your full payment card details)
- Diagnostics — crash and error reports via Sentry
- Analytics — product usage events via Mixpanel (for example feature use and onboarding steps). We do not put your email or name on analytics events.
How we use your data
- To calculate your daily readiness score and recovery insights
- To personalise workout recommendations and coaching
- To sync your data across devices via your RCVR account
- To manage subscriptions and Pro entitlements
- To understand product usage and improve the app
- To diagnose crashes and reliability issues
Data storage & processors
Account and workout-related data are stored on Supabase. Health metrics from Apple Health are processed on-device to power readiness; derived scores and app activity may be stored with your account. We use third-party processors including Supabase (backend), RevenueCat (subscriptions), Mixpanel (analytics), and Sentry (crash reporting). We do not sell your personal data.
Tracking
RCVR does not use your data for cross-app tracking or third-party advertising. Analytics and diagnostics are used to operate and improve the product.
Your rights
- Delete your account and associated RCVR data in the app: Profile → Delete Account
- Revoke Apple Health permissions anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → RCVR
- Manage App Store subscriptions in iOS Settings → Subscriptions
Children
RCVR is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of RCVR after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
